Select Shield

• 3 months from Sale Date or 3,000 miles from Sale Date.
• Powertrain only
• $100 deductible
• All Select Shield vehicles will have a special buyer’s guide with Warranty box checked. 
• All Select Shield vehicles will have branded window clings and rearview mirror hangers for attention getting point of sale material.

All used vehicles expect:

• Certified and near new Ford vehicles (i.e. 2015 or newer and under 15k miles)
• Domestic vehicles up to 140k miles
• Import vehicles up to 160k miles
• European vehicles up to 120k miles
• There will be certain vehicles and manufacturers that will not be branded as Select Shield at the Used Car Manager’s discretion (i.e Saab, Ranger/Land Rover, Porsche, etc.)
  • Used Car Managers will determine if the vehicle is Select Shield branded at the time of reconditioning prior to being placed on the line. 

• All Dealer supplied, contracts, window decals, and buyers guides are included with the program at no charge
• Customer is covered 3 months or 3,000 miles; whichever occurs first
• No limitations as to make, year, model or mileage of vehicles to qualify (Dealer’s discretion)
• Select Shield covers major powertrain components for customers with $100 deductible per occurence
